Moving to paid-only: what changes and why
JuhJuh is moving to a paid-only pricing model. Starting today, all new accounts require a paid subscription, and our tier structure has been simplified to four plans: Standard, Pro, Premium, and Enterprise.
This post explains what changed, the reasoning behind it, and what existing users should expect.
What changed
We retired the free tiers (Starter, Verified, and Unverified) and reorganized the paid plans:
- Standard ($30/mo) replaces the old Pro tier. Same price, same features, new name.
- Pro ($80/user/mo) replaces the old Team tier. Same price, same features, new name.
- Premium ($149/user/mo) is a new tier for growing organizations that need more capacity, more runners, and advanced features like priority queues and custom integrations.
- Enterprise remains custom-priced with unlimited everything, SAML/SSO, SLA, and dedicated support.
Annual billing discounts remain available across all tiers.
Why paid-only
Three reasons drove this decision.
First, infrastructure costs scale linearly with users. Every workspace consumes compute, storage, and AI tokens regardless of plan. Free tiers created a subsidization model where paying customers covered the costs of free accounts. That was unsustainable at our current growth rate.
Second, free tiers attracted accounts that never converted. Our data showed that fewer than 3% of free-tier users upgraded within 90 days. The vast majority created a workspace, ran a few test executions, and went dormant. Support overhead for these accounts was disproportionate to their value.
Third, paid-only aligns incentives. When every user has a financial stake, feature priorities reflect actual customer needs rather than free-tier engagement metrics. Our roadmap becomes sharper.
What happens to existing free-tier users
Every user currently on a free tier (Starter, Verified, or Unverified) has been moved to the Standard plan with a 30-day grace period. During this window, your workspace remains fully functional. After 30 days, your workspace becomes read-only until you select and pay for a plan.
Your projects, tickets, prompts, and execution history are preserved. Nothing is deleted.
Users already on paid plans (Pro or Team) have been automatically mapped to the new tier names. Pricing and features are unchanged. No action required.
Choosing a plan
Visit the pricing page to compare all four tiers. The Standard plan at $30/mo covers most individual workflows: 500K tokens, 3 projects, and 100 executions per month.
Teams that need collaboration, API access, and multi-repo support should look at Pro. Organizations scaling beyond 10 members or needing priority execution queues will find Premium a better fit.
