Data Deletion
How to disconnect an account, and how to ask us to delete what we hold about you.
Last updated: February 3, 2026
01 Overview
JuhJuh connects to accounts you already own — a messaging workspace, a code host, an issue tracker, a social account — so that it can do work on your behalf. This page explains, in plain language, what we hold when you connect one of those accounts, how to disconnect it, and how to ask us to delete everything we hold about you.
You do not need a JuhJuh account to read this page, and you do not need one to make a deletion request. If you only want the short version: remove the connection inside JuhJuh, cancel the permission at the provider as well, and email privacy@juhjuh.com if you want everything erased.
02 What we store for a connected account
When you connect an account, we store:
- The access itself — the key, token, or sign-in result that lets JuhJuh act on that account. It is stored encrypted and is never shown back to you in full.
- The settings you chose — which page, workspace, channel, calendar, board, or repository the connection points at, and the name you gave it.
- A record of use — when the connection was last checked, whether that check succeeded, and an entry in your workspace’s activity trail each time it is added, changed, or removed.
We do not copy your content out of the connected account to keep it. We read what a piece of work needs at the moment it runs, and we write back only what you asked for.
The full list of providers, what each one gives us, and how to cancel it at that provider is in the connected accounts section of our privacy policy.
03 Disconnect a single account
Inside JuhJuh:
- Open the project the connection belongs to and go to Connections.
- Find the connection in the list and choose Remove.
- Confirm. The connection stops being used straight away — nothing in JuhJuh will call that account again, and it disappears from every picker and automation.
04 Cancel the permission at the provider too
Removing a connection in JuhJuh does not, on its own, cancel the permission on the provider’s side. Access you granted through a permission screen, or a key you generated yourself, stays valid at that provider until you cancel it there. We recommend you always do both.
The privacy policy table gives the exact place to do this for each provider. As a general rule:
- If you agreed on a permission screen, remove JuhJuh from that provider’s connected-apps or integrations settings.
- If you pasted a key or token you generated yourself, delete or expire that key in the account where you created it.
05 Delete your whole account
If you are signed in, you can close your account yourself: open Settings, then Account, and choose to delete your account. You will be asked to confirm with your password.
Two things to know before you start:
- If you are the owner of a workspace, you must first hand that workspace to someone else or delete it. We ask for this so a shared workspace is never left without an owner.
- Deleting a workspace removes the projects, connections, and history inside it for everyone in it, not just for you.
If you would rather step away without deleting anything yet, the same page offers deactivation instead: you are signed out and your account stops being usable, but nothing is erased. Write to us if you later want it switched back on.
06 Ask us to delete your data by email
You can always ask us directly, whether or not you can still sign in. Email privacy@juhjuh.com from the address on the account, with:
- The email address the account uses.
- What you want deleted — a single connected account, everything for one provider, or all data we hold about you.
- If it is one connection, the workspace and project it sits in, so we remove the right one.
We will confirm we received it, ask for anything we need to identify you safely, and write to you again when the deletion is done. There is no charge, and asking never affects anything else about your account.
Deletion requests
07 How long it takes
| What you asked for | When it takes effect |
|---|---|
| Removing a connection yourself | Immediately — it is no longer used from that moment |
| Deleting your account yourself | Immediately, once you confirm |
| Acknowledging an emailed request | Within 5 working days |
| Completing an emailed deletion request | Within 30 days of us confirming who you are |
| Clearing routine backups of deleted data | Within 30 days of the deletion |
08 What we may have to keep
A small amount of information may survive a deletion request, and only where the law requires it or where removing it would harm someone else:
- Billing and tax records, which we are required to keep for a fixed period.
- Security and activity records needed to investigate abuse or to meet a legal obligation.
- Work you contributed to a shared workspace — a comment on someone else’s ticket, for example — which stays with that workspace, with your name removed from it.
Anything we keep is kept for the shortest period that obligation allows, and is never used to market to you.
