After you create your account and organization, JuhJuh walks you through a setup wizard. The wizard collects the basics your workspace needs: a description, your brand voice, domain settings, and team invitations. Most owners finish in under five minutes.

How onboarding works

Organization owners see the onboarding wizard the first time they access their workspace. The wizard is a six-step flow that runs before anything else. You complete each step, review your choices, and land on your dashboard when you are done.

There are two modes:

Mode When it appears Behavior
Wizard First visit after creating an organization Full-page, step-by-step. Blocks access to the workspace until required steps are finished.
Checklist After completing or dismissing the wizard Sidebar panel on the dashboard. Non-blocking. Complete remaining steps at your own pace.

Three steps are required: Company Bio, Brand Voice, and Domain & Visibility. The rest are optional but recommended.

Organization setup steps

Step 1: Company Bio

Write a short description of your organization. This text helps JuhJuh personalize AI-generated content, prompt templates, and agent behavior for your team.

  • Minimum 50 characters, maximum 500
  • Describe what your team builds, your industry, or your focus area
  • You can update this later from Settings

Step 2: Logo and Branding

Upload your organization logo. The logo appears across the platform: in the sidebar, on shared pages, and in notifications.

  • Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, SVG, WebP
  • Maximum file size: 5 MB
  • Optional: upload a wallpaper image for your organization profile

This step is optional. You can skip it and add a logo later.

Step 3: Brand Voice

Define how your organization communicates. JuhJuh uses your brand voice settings to match the tone and style of AI-generated content to your team's standards.

  1. Enter a name for your brand voice (e.g., "Engineering Docs" or "Customer Support")
  2. Select a tone from the preset options, or write a custom tone description
  3. Add an optional tagline, mission statement, and core belief
  4. Add a voice description to give more detail on how content should sound

This step is required. Your brand voice influences prompt templates, knowledge pages, and agent outputs across the platform.

Step 4: Domain and Visibility

Configure your organization's subdomain and discoverability settings.

  1. Set your custom domain or confirm the default subdomain
  2. Choose whether your organization is publicly discoverable or private

This step is required.

Subdomain naming rules

Your subdomain becomes the address of your organization, for example acme.juhjuh.com. Choose a value that:

  • Uses lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens only
  • Is between 2 and 100 characters long
  • Does not start or end with a hyphen
  • Is not already taken by another organization

Some names are reserved because they conflict with platform routes or marketing pages. The following are common reserved values: admin, api, app, billing, blog, cauldron, cloud, deployments, docs, incidents, integrations, logs, metrics, monitoring, pricing, settings, status, tracing, www. If you try to register a reserved name, the platform rejects it and asks you to pick a different one.

If your team name collides with a reserved value, append a qualifier (acme-cloud, acme-team) or use a different word.

Step 5: Invite Team

Add team members by email. Each person receives an invitation with a link to join your organization.

  • Enter one or more email addresses
  • Invitees receive an email with a direct join link
  • You can manage roles and permissions after they join

This step is optional. You can invite members at any time from the Teams page.

Step 6: Your Profile

Set your job role, experience level, and title. JuhJuh uses this information to personalize your experience and route tasks based on expertise.

  1. Select your job role from the dropdown
  2. Choose your experience level
  3. Confirm your job title

This step is required for the wizard to complete.

Completion

When all required steps are finished, JuhJuh marks your organization as onboarded and redirects you to the dashboard. The wizard does not appear again.

If you skip optional steps, a checklist panel appears on the sidebar so you can return to them later. Dismiss the checklist at any time by clicking Dismiss. You can always update these settings from your organization's Settings page.

Project setup

Each project in your organization has its own setup checklist. This checklist appears when you create a new project and tracks five steps:

Step Required Description
Description and Details Yes Write a project description (minimum 20 characters)
Connect Repository Yes (code projects) Link a source code repository. Not required for non-code projects.
Issue Tracker No Connect an external tracker (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues, or GitLab Issues)
Invite Members No Add team members to the project
Review and Activate Yes Confirm your settings and activate the project

The Review and Activate step is locked until all required steps are complete. Once you activate the project, the setup checklist disappears and your project is ready for work.

Auto-detection

JuhJuh checks whether setup steps are already satisfied when the onboarding record is created. If your organization already has a logo uploaded, a domain configured, or team members invited, those steps are marked complete automatically. The same applies to project setup: if a repository is already connected or a tracker is already linked, those steps start as done.

You are never asked to repeat work you have already completed.
