User Profile
Set up your JuhJuh profile with avatar, work details, privacy settings, MFA, and agent instructions. Manage your account and security preferences.
Your profile controls how you appear across JuhJuh, what other members see, and how your account is secured. You can configure display info, work details per organization, privacy, two-factor authentication, and agent-level instructions.
Your profile page¶
Navigate to Profile from the top-right avatar menu. Your profile page shows:
- Display name and avatar
- Organizations you belong to
- Projects you contribute to
- Teams you are part of
Other members in your organization can view your profile to see your role, department, and responsibilities.
Edit your profile¶
Go to Settings from the avatar menu. The settings page has sections for identity, work profile, preferences, and security.
Basic info¶
- Click Settings from the avatar menu.
- Update your username, display name, or email address.
- Click Save.
Your username is unique across JuhJuh. Your display name appears on tickets, comments, and activity feeds.
Avatar¶
Upload a profile photo or let JuhJuh generate initials from your display name.
- In Settings, find the avatar section.
- Click Upload and select an image (JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF, max 5 MB).
- To remove a custom avatar, click Remove.
If your account is linked to an external issue tracker, JuhJuh can sync your avatar from that service automatically.
Work profile¶
Your work profile describes your role and expertise within each organization. This information helps JuhJuh route tickets to the right people and tailor AI outputs to your experience level.
Profile setup wizard¶
When you join an organization, JuhJuh walks you through a 3-step setup:
- Job role and title. Select your role (Backend, Frontend, Full-Stack, Mobile, DevOps, Data, QA, Security, Design, PM, Engineering Manager, Architect, or other) and enter your job title.
- Experience and department. Choose your experience level (Junior, Mid, Senior, Lead, Principal, Executive) and department.
- Responsibilities. Select which areas you cover: code review, architecture, mentoring, CI/CD, testing, security, project management, hiring, documentation, incident response, performance, or API design.
You can skip the wizard and fill in details later from Settings.
Update work profile¶
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Work Profile section.
- Each organization you belong to has its own work profile. Update role, title, experience, department, and responsibilities independently.
Privacy settings¶
Control who can see your profile and what information is visible.
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Public profile | When enabled, anyone with your profile URL can view your profile. When disabled, only members of your organizations see it. |
| Show organizations | Toggle whether your organization memberships are visible on your public profile. |
| Show agent instructions | Toggle whether your personal agent instructions are visible to other members. |
To update privacy settings:
- Navigate to your Profile page.
- Click the privacy settings toggle for each option.
Agent instructions¶
You can write personal agent instructions in Markdown that apply to every AI execution you trigger. These instructions sit at the user level in the instruction cascade: organization, project, team, then user.
- Go to your Profile page.
- Click Edit next to your agent instructions.
- Write your instructions in Markdown.
- Click Save.
Use this to set personal coding preferences, naming conventions, or context that you want every AI agent to follow when working on your tickets.
Theme preference¶
JuhJuh supports light and dark mode. Set your preference in Settings under Preferences. The theme applies across all pages immediately.
Change password¶
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Password section.
- Enter your current password and your new password.
- Click Change Password.
Two-factor authentication¶
Add a second layer of security with time-based one-time passwords (TOTP). Any standard authenticator app works (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, or similar).
Enable MFA¶
- Go to Settings.
- Click Set Up in the MFA section.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
- Enter the 6-digit code to verify.
- Save your backup codes in a secure location.
JuhJuh generates 10 single-use backup codes. Each code works once if you lose access to your authenticator app.
Disable MFA¶
- Go to Settings.
- Click Disable in the MFA section.
- Enter a valid TOTP code or backup code to confirm.
Lockout protection¶
After multiple failed MFA attempts, your account is temporarily locked. Wait for the lockout to expire and try again, or contact your organization admin.
Account deletion¶
You can deactivate or permanently delete your account from Settings.
Deactivate¶
Deactivation disables your login but preserves your data. An organization admin can reactivate you later.
- Go to Settings, then Account.
- Click Deactivate Account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
Delete permanently¶
Permanent deletion removes your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
Before deleting, JuhJuh checks whether you own any organizations. If you do, you must either transfer ownership to another member or delete the organization first.
- Go to Settings, then Account.
- Review the deletion impact summary (owned organizations, projects, and data).
- Resolve any organizations you own by transferring or deleting them.
- Click Delete Account and confirm with your password.
